The blessing of Purim

Quite often, we find ourselves in dire situations from which escape seems impossible without the help from our Father. It seems like we have nowhere to turn for rescue, but in this Jewish month of Adar II, we celebrate the blessings of Purim which encourage us to never give up hope. This month teaches us that all that transpires in this world is part of a Divine plan, and that everything will turn out for the better. We must never doubt that all things work for the good, and that God can bring about a stunning reversal in destiny in the blink of an eye, just like He did for the nation of Israel in the Book of Esther.
The enemy will often appear behind something else. In the book of Esther, Queen Esther found favor with the king and her petition resulted in a divine reversal for Mordecai, Esther and the Jewish people. Mordecai and Esther were divinely positioned by God to bring deliverance to His people, and as a result, Haman’s wicked plot was overturned, and the enemy did not stand a chance against God’s design.

This is a time to turn sorrow into joy, and I want to encourage you: just as God divinely positioned Mordecai and Esther to use them to bring deliverance to His people, He will divinely position you for this season.  This can be the ending of one season and the beginning of a new time for your life. Come prepared to be released into the blessings of Purim. I want to raise your spirit and inspire you to read the book of Esther in preparation of this Sunday’s message. I guarantee you will be blessed!

Keeping the Word Alive,
